What is in the CSA food box?

The CSA food box contents vary week to week depending on what’s in season. Early in the season, you’ll notice a larger number of greens (lettuce’s, spinach, arugula etc.), before the warm season crops such as tomatoes and beans are ready during July.  Late in the season even more crops become available, such as squashes and leeks.

We try our best to have a good variety of produce available each week and allow some customizations to the boxes to suite each customers tastes.

Can I substitute vegetables in the food box?

Each week, you’ll receive an email on Monday letting you know what is coming in the box.  Approximately half the items are chosen by us and are in the “base”.  The other half of items you can pick by filling out a short survey.  We do try to stick to safer veggies in the base, so don’t expect to see hot peppers or other risky veggies.  We leave those to the customized picks.

Do you deliver CSA food boxes?

Yes, we deliver to the Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding area, including Elmira, St. Jacobs, Heidelberg, St. Clements and Conestogo. Please speak with Jeremy to confirm the fee.

Can I cancel my share part way through the season?

Conditions apply. Please speak to Jeremy directly.

What happens if I’m away for a week?

If you are going to be away for a week, you may arrange for another person to pick up your food box. When you are unable to pick up your share, it will be donated to a local charity.

How do I pay?

Payments can be made by cash, cheque, or etransfer.

Can I pay in instalments?
